Funerals

Every person whose life we celebrate has lived a life of meaning and value.

Funerals are a time to reflect, a time to celebrate life, a time to remember with gratitude, love and respect, a time to laugh and cry, a time to come together with family and friends. These emotions are a natural process.

Glenda’s service will reflect these emotions with respect and dignity for your loved one that has passed. Glenda understand that funerals can be one of the hardest things to endure but with compassion, understanding and heartfelt words, poems and readings the service will be a memorable beautiful part of the Celebration of a life that has gone before.

A funeral service is a very special ceremony that involves respect, caring and compassion. As a celebrant officiating a funeral, Glenda makes sure that when she meets with the family  for the first meeting she listens!

Glenda want to make the service a memorable one so she gets to know the family and the deceased. She take notes and explains the order of service. Glenda will ask if any special poems or readings would like to be said. The eulogy is a major part of any funeral service and if the family do not think they are up to reading it then Glenda will do it. Songs and a slideshow of photos of the deceased are a lovely addition to any service. At this sad time Glenda will try to do as much as I can for the family to make it easier for them.

Please contact Glenda to discuss your needs further.

Glenda was so warm and kind & listened to what we wanted to do. I feel we knew Glenda on a personal level & that was great. To us Glenda wasn’t a Celebrant, we felt like we had known her for years. I will definitely recommend her to any friends or family.
